Description of the role THIS FULL-TIME POSITION IS IN LANGLEY BC Reporting to the Director of Marketing and working with our social media resource, the Web Dev and Digital Discovery Manager will coordinate/manage all things digital for the marketing department of this brand management company in the cannabis space. This person is a vital link in the marketing chain. The major elements of the position are: WordPress website set up and management for multiple brand properties in multiple regions Micro-sites Mobile application Plug-in wizardry Google AdWords programs Youtube pre-roll programs and other digital advertising Online marketing strategy participation Ranking strategies Front end and back end (with design support) Continual SEO improvement Inbound marketing program execution Loyalty program creation and management E-Commerce Site analysis Trend reporting Digital asset management Vendor management Education, experience, skills and abilities This is you: Digital education - diploma or certificate Minimum three years experience in a similar environment/function Mastery of WordPress Plugin wrangler Experience in the cannabis industry would be nice to have but not essential Skill with Adobe CS - Photoshop Slap-Chop artist at least Loves to A/B test SEO ninja Neo from the Matrix (look it up) ability with Google Analytics Has personal site Has portfolio Breaker of the internet Organized organizer Glamourous nerd (non-glam OK too) Analytical problem solver Not paralyzed by a challenge Has a life beyond hashtagging Focused and diligent Unafraid of speaking your mind Some custom code familiarity Able to argue sides in the WP vs Drupal debate Can claw your way through HTML to safety E-commerce understanding and ability Also known as “the Pixel Princess.” Or Prince.
