Lead Designer & Digital Marketing Associate
We are a thriving Marketing Agency located 15 minutes north of downtown Seattle, looking to bolster our creative digital marketing chops with a talented designer who understands the digital space. This person will collaborate daily with the Digital Marketing team and report to the Director of Creative Services to produce WordPress front-end designs and compelling digital assets for a varied client base. He/she will work hand-in-hand with the team to create visual assets and assist with the deployment of digital campaigns for our clients. They will also provide additional design support as needed – concepting and producing print ads, developing corporate identities for startups or established companies, and designing websites for potential clientele.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Be the lead graphic designer for all visual advertising and graphic design needs for the agency
o Conceive and develop concepts independently and as part of a team
o Work collaboratively with internal design and sales teams
o Carry concepts through the entire development life cycle: research, exploration, refinement, production,
o Interpret client needs to produce effective visual creative
o Effectively manage all aspects of the project work-cycle: time management, budget tracking, time tracking,
Assist in the development of visual creative projects
o Be the point of contact on any project work that requires a designer’s eye: print, digital, web, TV, etc.
o Provide expertise, solutions, directions, options for staff as requested to develop and uphold brand/design
o Have project management expertise and be very detail-oriented
o Be an influential decision-maker in guiding design projects to their effective end
Develop identities/logos for companies
Create compelling digital and print advertising assets
Design for various platforms (social media, email, ads, website)
Lead design for projects and campaigns
Collaborate with Director of Creative services throughout the design process
o Understand how to take a project to press and all the preparation necessary to produce print-ready artwork
Website, front-end Art Director and Designer
o Site planning – collaborate with internal team and client to lay out effective wireframes
o Translate business and functional needs through modern and compelling design
o Produce functioning pages to conform to design specifications
o WordPress site configuration, set up, and deployment
o Work with external custom development partners to ensure design standards are met/adhered to
o Explore the latest in templates, themes, and design trends to ensure solutions are current
Proficient in productivity tools (Microsoft Office/Google Suite), project management tools (Trello, FunctionFox) and Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, XD)
Expertise that would be great to have
• Ability to troubleshoot website and development issues
• Experience developing and executing digital marketing campaigns
• Photography or/and video skills

The Lead Designer & Digital Marketing Associate position is full-time and salaried. Periodic travel for some accounts may be required.
