IT Tech - Full Time We are looking for a high energy, positive attitude person to add to our IT dept. You must know your way around computers, this includes configuration, troubleshooting hardware, software and networking (including wireless). Ideally you are familiar with high-tech items such as printers, tablets, smart phones, Cameras, multi-media devices and the basics of networking. Some familiarity ITIL, AD, Sharepoint, SQL, Linux and Exchange would be a plus but is not required. Experience working in a Casino environment preferred but not required. Work will involve: Lifting and carrying in excess of 70lbs (occasionally over 100lbs) Working on a lift Working in crawl spaces Working on your own / self-starter This is a permanent full-time position at a 24/7 facility. Your schedule should be fairly stable but will vary some; you must be flexible in hours available including weekends, evenings, on call, cover for other staff members and occasional overtime. Among the hours this position will cover is the 0:00 to 8:00am shift. Location: We are located in North Kitsap Peninsula, so you must be located on the Kitsap Peninsula or be willing to relocate at your own expense within 90 days. Tele-commuting is not an option. Commuting from outside the Kitsap peninsula is only an option during the initial probationary period. IT stuff happens around the clock and the time needed to catch a ferry or drive around will be too long in an emergency. Screening: You must be able to pass a background check and a drug test. You will also receive a class 3 gaming license. Desired qualifications: Certifications: An A+ certification or the ability to get one within 90 days of being hired is required. Training materials provided and the cost of the test will be covered if you don't already have this certification. Other certifications are valued but not required due to the job level. Education: Some college preferred. A relevant degree is valued but not required due to the job level. Experience: 0-4 years. Candidates with additional experience and other qualifications are not discouraged from applying, but you need to understand the level of the position and the salary level such a position will entail. Skills: A thorough understanding of personal computers running a variety of Microsoft operating systems. A thorough understanding of common software such as Microsoft Office, Antivirus, etc. A basic grasp of PC networking. Troubleshooting and fixing PCs including networking issues.
